WHO IS "POP UP PEOPLE"?
- Pop Up People is a grassroots events business based in Virginia, Brisbane.
- We specialise in providing stellar labour crew for brands and agencies, to assist with set-up and pack-down of their events. This can be anything from setting up at sports stadiums, right through to festivals, expos, brand and shopping centre activations.
- We have a workshop in Virginia for prop design, build and maintenance.

ABOUT YOU
- The candidate will possess a positive attitude and a willingness to get their hands dirty.
- The candidate will have availability across a 7-day week as some shifts may fall on nights and weekends.
- At times, this is a client/customer-facing position. Candidates will be approachable, well-presented and capable of interacting with clients in a way that reflects positively on themselves and the business.
- Any experience driving trucks and vans (car-license) would be highly desirable.
- At Pop Up People, we pride ourselves on Sensibility, Strength and Customer Satisfaction. In this regard, we require a person who is physically fit and able to undertake manual lifting when required. This role can be physically demanding, as most event set-ups require some form of physical labour, including but not limited to lifting and manoeuvring furniture, weighted items and backdrops.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- We are looking for people to join our casual crew for event work across a casual rotating roster. This role suits people who are looking to fill gaps in between other employee or activities across your week.
- Daily duties at Pop Up People include onsite event installations and/or dismantles across South-East Queensland. This can include setting up bars, backdrops, furniture, styling and visual merchandising concepts.
- General warehouse duties, event planning and preparation for future event installations.
