The City Spaces team is looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to take on the role of Centre Manager of one of our 13 community centres in the local area. You will be joining a passionate and enthusiastic team working to deliver high quality services and programs for the wider community within the City of Sydney.


In this role you will:

Foster effective relationships with multiple stakeholders; Have concise written and oral communication skills;Have the ability to work autonomously;Be able to prioritise conflicting deadlines;Be committed to delivering high quality customer service.


You will have experience in planning, developing, implementing and monitoring service specifications, as well as leading and developing team members to provide relevant services as well as social, educational, cultural and recreational programs. In particular you will facilitate community development projects and recreation programs which both respond to priority needs of the wider community, whilst simultaneously achieving the outcomes set out in the City’s Social Sustainability Plan.

You will have extensive knowledge of the community services or leisure industry and will hold tertiary qualification/s in business, leisure, community, arts or allied discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent competencies gained through experience.
