Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Trade Assistant will be assisting the tradesperson with moving of Hydraulic components whilst utilising an overhead crane and forklift, sorting parts and spray painting. The successful candidate will be assisting the tradesperson in repairing and maintaining of various hydraulic components inclusive but not limited to hydraulic cylinders and pumps.

Location: South GuildfordRoster: Mon-Fri, 2 weeks dayshift, 2 weeks nightshift, 10H per shift
To be successful the following is required:
- Proven experience of Trade Assistant work within a mechanical setting is essential
- Forklift License is essential with Dogging and overhead Crane highly desired or willing to obtain
- Previous exposure to heavy machinery - desirable but not essential
- Experience with on engines and/or hydraulic components is highly desirable but not essential
- Good attitude with a strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's will guide you to success in this role
