Change Manager [Australia]


 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Change Manager to work with State Government Department - 12 months contract.

We are looking for a Change Manager, to work on various projects and initiatives, many of which focus on implementing Salesforce transformational change and regulatory reform.

Key Accountabilities -

  • Undertake end-to-end change management for assigned projects per the organisational change framework in collaboration with the Project Manager/s, Organisational Change Lead and Business teams.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies and plans to ensure successful solution implementation and adoption.
  • Develop other high quality change management documents in consultation with internal and external stakeholders - these include impact assessments, change readiness and learning plans.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Advisor, Project Manager and Sponsor to develop and execute agreed Communications Plans.
  • Lead change champion networks and drive key messaging as required.
  • Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics, and identify and manage anticipated resistance to change.
  • Identify opportunities and provide support / expertise to management where appropriate to reinforce the change and build resilience to change more broadly across the organisation.

Knowledge, skills and experience the role requires -

  • Experience delivering change (end-to-end) in complex environments, specifically service delivery reform/innovation and transformational change.
  • Highly developed internal and external stakeholder management skills with the ability to establish relationships quickly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to prepare and deliver presentations and reports on the status of change projects and identified risks and issues.
  • Proactive self-starter, ability to work independently.
  • Creative thinker, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, able to manage competing priorities.
  • Appreciation of the change management required to implement Salesforce products to new users.
  • Understanding of the Salesforce platform and its features is highly desirable but not mandatory.
