We are looking for a translator to work remotely on translating Chinese text to English for single-player games. The text encompasses daily conversations, game terminology, and adult content.
Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in both Chinese and English languages.
- Excellent knowledge of gaming terminology and a strong interest in video games.
- Comfortable with translating adult content.
- Proficiency in using various types of onomatopoeic words in English to accurately convey the intended meaning.
- Attention to detail and the ability to complete work before the deadline.
Responsibilities:
- Translate the text while ensuring that the translated content captures the overall meaning of the original text.
- Eliminate any grammatical or spelling errors in the translated text.
- Ensure that the translated text flows smoothly and sounds natural.
Compensation:
- The payment will be based on the volume of text translated.
