We are a small Independant organisation based in Pakenham and Drouin, an exciting opportunity has become available.
We re looking for an experienced support worker with clear verbal and written English skills. You would need to be enthusiastic, energetic and a reliable all-rounder who can think on their feet and outside of the box. We are a small team, so great communication is a must.
The role will be casual with plenty of hours available and view to full time for the right person.
Role Description:
- Supporting and coaching independent life skills
- Engaging in programs to assist participants to achieve their individual goals of becoming more independent in the community and in home
- Must be able to drive with trailer
- Assisting with gardening maintenance group
- Male swimming group
- Liaising with participants, families, and other stakeholders on a daily basis
- Providing personal care as required
- Domestic Duties as required
- Community access
- Notes and paperwork
Essential Criteria
· Current Victorian Drivers Licence
. NDIS worker screening check
· Clear Police Check – we will complete on application
· Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
· Certificate IV in disability or equivalent
· Must be available minimum 4 days a week (Including weekends and sleepovers)
Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Permanent
Part-time hours: 38 per week
Salary: $38.08 – $83.77 per hour
