Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) is seeking a General Manager to provide overall operational and strategic management and leadership of The Tweed Hospital/Tweed Valley Hospital, delivering a comprehensive range of services in accordance with NNSWLHD Health Services plan, policies, procedures and budget to achieve the best in health for our communities.

The General Manager is required to lead, direct, plan and manage the physical, human and financial resources of The Tweed Hospital/Tweed Valley Hospital to ensure the effective and efficient provision of high-quality health care services, in line with the organisational objectives, corporate and business plans of the NNSWLHD and with the policy directions of NSW Ministry of Health.
If you have:
  • Experience as part of a senior management team in a large complex organisation engaged in service delivery and relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Highly developed strategic, conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to act responsively and with discernment.
  • Ability to liaise, negotiate and build relationships with community and other agency representatives.
  • Experience managing operational budgets, physical and human resources.
