About the role

As the Electrical Coordinator your role day-to-day will be to manage all electrical maintenance activities across the site processing and non-processing infrastructure and responsible for the following on a daily basis.
  • Drive exemplary safety practices through proactive team engagement and rigorous incident management.
  • Direct predictive, preventive, and corrective electrical maintenance, optimising resource allocation through the weekly and shutdown scheduling process.
  • Accountable for delivery for work management process. Including the continuous refinement of these processes
  • Ensure precise information delivery to support planning, engineering, maintenance, and operational decisions. Including the building of strong relations with these key stakeholder and support teams.
  • Maintain strict compliance with energy safety, workplace health and safety, mining regulations and other regulatory obligations.
  • Efficiently manage plant outages to minimise operational disruption.
  • Lead electrical team recruitment, fostering development through, succession planning, targeted training, and mentorship.
  • Implement continuous improvement programs to electrical systems to ensure plant reliability and workplace safety.
  • Assume Superintendent duties when needed, showcasing operational leadership, adaptability and driving of the business plan
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Will have demonstrated leadership and operational management experience; formal leadership training valued.
  • Hold strong verbal and written communication skills essential.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel beneficial.
  • Minimum proven 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Coordinator
Essential Requirements:
  • Electrical & instrumentation maintenance experience in mineral processing, with gold processing experience valued
  • Unrestricted WA Electrical License
  • High Voltage qualification
  • Working at heights
  • HRWL –EWP
  • Extensive knowledge of process technologies and equipment; familiarity with DCS/PLC. Yokogawa DCS experience valued
Desired Requirements
  • Confined Space
  • LV Rescue and CPR certifications
  • Experience in SAP is desirable
